πŸ“šβœ¨ Second Grade Update: Exploring Long 'o' and Simple Present Positivity! βœ¨πŸ“š

Hello Second Grade Superstars! 🌟

Guess what? We've been on an incredible learning journey, and it's time to share our newfound knowledge! πŸš€ This week, we dived into the fascinating world of the Long 'o' sound. We discovered that 'o,' 'oa,' and 'ow' can create magical words with this special sound. Think of words like "go," "boat," and "grow" – aren't they awesome?

But that's not all – we've also been mastering the Simple Present in our English adventures! We're becoming sentence superheroes by crafting positive sentences with verbs like "play," "read," and "learn." For example, "I play with my friends," or "She reads a fantastic book."

In Math, we've been measuring like true mathematicians! We explored lengths in meters and centimeters, using rulers to measure and compare different objects in our classroom. We even delved into the world of weight, measuring items in grams and kilograms. Can you believe how much fun it is to measure and compare things?

Keep up the fantastic work, Second Grade Heroes! We're on a roll, learning, growing, and having a blast together. Stay curious and keep shining bright! πŸŒˆπŸ“πŸ“š

With excitement,

Mr. Jose
